Visit Jammu

Day 1 : Arrive in Srinagar

Upon arrival, meet our representative and take a transfer to the hotel/houseboat. Spend the day at leisure on boulevard road which one of the most famous road in Srinagar for tourists and is situated around the Dal lake surrounded by Zabarwan mountain ranges.

Day 02:Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar (96 kms / 3:30 hours approximately)

After breakfast leave with full day excursion for Sonmarg "The meadow of gold". Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonmarg is at a distance of 84 Kms from Srinagar is also called as "The meadow of gold". Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. The place is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in hotel

Day 03:Srinagar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive to Srinagar and enjoy the site scene of the famous Mughal Gardens
Cheshma Shahi "Royal Spring"
Shalimar "Garden of Love"
Nishat Garden "Garden of Pleasure"
Shankaracharya Temple.
On return visit a local Handicrafts Showroom for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, jewelry ornaments.Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 04:Srinagar - Gulmarg (56 kms / 2 hours approximately)

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg "Meadow of Flowers" 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as Gondola (on direct pay basis). Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 05:Gulmarg - Pahalgam (144 kms / 4:30 hours approximately)

After Breakfast drive to Pahalgam "Valley of Shepherds". In Pahalgam enjoy the nature and admire the beauty of this quiet place and be in awe of the serene surroundings. One can also enjoy a pony ride to Bisran or can hire a local taxi to visit Aru, Chandanwadi (on a direct hire basis) or if you are an avid nature lover you may take pleasure in a peaceful walk along the River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage.

Day 06:Pahalgam - Patnitop (150 /5:00 hrs Approximately)

After breakfast early in the morning drive to Patnitop from Srinagar. Patnitop is a hill top tourist location in Udhampur district on the National Highway 1A, on the way you can see Jawahar tunnel which is almost 2.5 Kms longest in India. Patnitop is a distortion of the original name of "Patan Da Talab" meaning "Pond of the Princess". In olden times a pond existed in the meadows and the king's princess often used to have her bath there. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 07:Patnitop - Katra (80 Kms/ 2: 10 Hrs appox)

After Breakfast, proceed to Katra. The distance is about 80 kms, will be covered in about 2:10 hours, upon arrival in Katra Check in hotel.Overnight stay in the Hotel

Day 08:Katra - Vaishno devi

After breakfast early in the morning we proceed further to visit the Holy temple of Vaishno Devi. This temple is situated on the top of the hill. From Katra the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage is about 13Kms. To visit the temple one has to hire a pony or travel by foot.

Day 09: Vaishno devi - Katra

After visiting the temple we return back to Katra.Overnight stay in the Hotel

Day 10: Katra - Jammu Departure (40 Kms/ 1: 20 Hrs appox)

After breakfast drive to Jammu and get ready for transfer to Jammu Railway Station or Airport for onward destination.
